Are You Trying to Shape Up?

1) What is your shape up plan? Are your goals realistic? Some people set unrealistic goals for themselves, like trying to lose 15 pounds a week! That is setting yourself up for failure. Take a good look at your goal. If it's too big, break it down. If it's not reasonable, change it.

One of the easiest ways to begin to uncover hidden talents, dreams, or careers, is to take a close look at your past. Think about your middle school years, your high school years and ask yourself a few questions. What did I love to do? What have I stopped doing that I'd like to try again? This will get you started to uncovering a deeper purpose.

What are you believing?

We believe lots of garbage about ourselves that gets in the way of our success. Try this. IFyou have a goal that you are trying to achieve, ask yourself, what do I really believe about this...ie...no mattter what happens, I never give up. I don't care what other people think, I'm focused on my goals. Get the idea? Read this belief everyday. Put it up where you can see it, and remind yourself of it when you are faced with your biggest challenges.

Those Nasty Beliefs

Beliefs are our biggest roadblocks between us and whatever it is we want to accomplish. The bottom line, a belief is not fact or truth, it is only a belief. To begin knocking down the I can't do its, the it's impossible, etc..we need to take a closer look at what beliefts are getting in our way. Write down the top 10 that stare you in the face on a regular basis.
